One way we love to unwind and live life to the fullest is by attending festivals. Be it a beer festival, music festival, or Bulgarian festival, they all have the keys to helping us live life like we have no worries.

However, a long-awaited festival can turn sour, if as an attendee, you don’t get to figure out your complete checklist. To avoid such a situation, here is all you’ll be needing to enjoy your festivity to the brim.

Before finding out, please keep the following in mind:

Bring Just the Important Stuff

Usually, you wouldn’t transport directly to where you’ll be camping. You’ll have to walk some distance along with your luggage first. Therefore, we advise you to bring just the important stuff to avoid stressing yourself while going or leaving the festival venue.

Bring Small Quantity to Make a Quick Entrance

Bringing a small number of goods affords you a timely entrance. Coming with huge traveling bags will keep you longer in the queue due to the search procedure. So the lighter you go, the faster you’ll move into the arena.

Label Your Belongings

Endeavor to tag each of your belongings with your name and phone number to recognize or retrieve them if they go missing.

Don’t Wrap Your Luggage

We advise that you don’t wrap your luggage so that officials can search them easily. Moreover, using plastic wraps would leave debris in the festival area.

Be Eco-Conscious

As an attendee, you have to support the environment by being eco-conscious. Thus, use only reusable items.

Essentials

In this category, you’ll find the must-have items in a festival ground. See below:

Your Ticket

Purchase your ticket and go along with it. Ensure it’s not from a third party who may have stolen or forge them. Buy it from the official website, or from the stand where tickets are sold directly.

Means of Identity

In festivals, identity cards are necessary to ascertain the age of attendees and ensure that underage participants don’t drink alcohol. Mind you; you wouldn’t have to identify with your ID at all times cause they’ll typically present you with a wristband to show that you’re above 18 years old.

Have Your Money With You

We don’t advise you to go with your credit card alone. Instead, ensure you have enough cash at hand. This way, you wouldn’t have to join the long queue before withdrawing money to make any transaction on the festival ground.

Camping

Camping is an integral part of a festival. So to have a good camping experience, you’d be needing the following:

Tent

A 2-man tent may be suitable for just you alone. However, ensure your tent will create enough space for yourself and your belongings.

Sleeping Bag and Camping Pillows

Get a sleeping bag and a blow-up pillow to conserve space and give you convenience.

Roll Mat/Inflatable Mattress

You need something to lie or sit on occasionally on the festival site, so accompany yourself with a roll mat if an inflatable mattress is too heavy for you.

Tissue Paper

Get enough tissue paper to help with your hygiene.

Stainless Steel Water Bottle

The fun of festivity can make you thirsty occasionally, so get a reusable water bottle that you can fill with cold water or liquid at any time.

Lamp and Torch

You need a lamp to provide light inside your tent, while a torch would help you locate your camp after a good day of festivity.

Clothes

You can’t tell what the weather will be like during the festival. So you must bring a bit of everything:

  • Go with a jumper cause it may not be chilly in the day, but at night, you never can tell
  • Get some flat shoes to help you stand during the festival. It will afford you comfort
  • Get clothes that you’ll be wearing to and fro the journey. Also, get clothes you’ll be wearing during the festival, and even extra for unforeseen circumstances
  • A hat is useful to shield you from the sun
  • A little bag to keep your miscellaneous and personal effects

Other vital items to go with include:

Ensure you have all of these with you so that it’ll be a festival of your dreams.
